A good purchase for the stationery buff who likes to resize sheets of paper. Easy to use, I wouldn’t try to cut more than three or four pieces of paper at a time, less if the paper is nice and thick. Definitely for light use, but well made and portable (fits in a drawer nicely) so you don’t have to permanently sacrifice desk space for it. It does the job, just don’t expect it to handle a lot of sheets at a time.

Great item, great quality, great price
Strong enough to cut smoothly through 3-4 pieces of cardstock at a time. I bought this to replace a paper cutter I bought from a different seller on Amaazon, and this one is significantly better. It doesn’t snag the paper, make any terrible squeaking noises, or feel unsteady/cheaply made. I also bought the small 8 inch one and I love that it’s so much easier to carry back and forth to work while teaching! 10/10 will buy again.

I will keep this because a) I’m too lazy to return it and b) it will cut a straight line if I am careful, but I’m not recommending it because it wasn’t clear how to pull the arm out and then when I did, it goes a little too far the other way so that if you rest the paper against the arm, you end up with a crooked cut. Not good.
