Cute $13 wood block in my car that smells like cinnamon
I got the teak scent with the starter kit. It was easy to clip onto the sun visor, and the smell is phenomenal. I would describe the teak as a warm, slightly woody cinnamon. It reminds me a lot of cinnamon extract or cinnamon essential oil. It’s a good unisex fragrance in my opinion, though I know some may find it too masculine. If you prefer very feminine scents, I would suggest avoiding the teak.I just put it in my car, so I will try to remember to update this on the longevity of the scent once it finally fades. I’ll be able to decide whether it’s worth it or not by how long it lasts. Initially, at least, this gets 5 stars.Small update – About 3 days after putting this in my car, the intensity of the scent dropped. It’s not so powerful that every inhale inside my car smells like intense teak, but it’s still pleasant.5/31/25 – The scent has lost more intensity. I still catch it as I enter the car which is nice, I assume my passengers think my car smells nice when they step in, but otherwise I don’t really catch it. I live in SoCal and my car sits in the sun, and I noticed the intense heat causes the oils to seep out of the block. I attached a pic that shows what I mean. I suspect the scent molecules are being destroyed by the SoCal heat, and if I had my car in a cooler location during the day, the scent would be staying around much longer (and the oils wouldn’t be seeping out the wood).Before you buy this, consider how hot the interior of your car will get during the day when not in use. Too much heat will destroy the scent molecules and shorten the lifespan of this air freshener.

Scent Gone After 48 Hours
Okay, so I gave this two stars because it is indeed beautiful, it holds well, and it doesn’t get in the way and the worry of it falling onto your face or the dash as you drive is non existent.This thing came in packaged well, I was impressed by Alpha Males review on it so I decided to give it a try, and I bought two of them. One for the driver and passenger side.I installed them on Saturday, the scent was very strong, I see other reviews of people saying just how powerful the scent is and it is true, it’s a powerful scent, however, it is right in front of your face as you drive and with the AC on or Heat on will further blow it into your face.Now, as I said, I installed it on Saturday and by Monday the smell was so faint that I forgot that I had installed them.Comes Tuesday, zero scent, I was so disappointed. I questioned myself to see if I had done something wrong, and I followed the instructions that I came with them and I also watched videos on them.Now, I am not sure if it starts off strong and then just supposed to lightly scent your vehicle, because I don’t even smell it when I open the door and get in after the door has been closed all night.Maybe I received bad ones? But what are the chances of receiving two bad ones?Even before writing this review I went to my car to see if I was able to smell anything and it was so little that it didn’t make sense at all.I think they have a great product here, it looks beautiful within the car, but they need to do more quality checks on this product.Now, they get you by saying that it can last up to 30 days … But how? What makes it last 30 days?What would make it not smell after 48 hours?

Woodsy Car Freshener (Day 1)
Right out of the package, this carved wood freshener is a vibe, real simple with no worries of any sort of liquid leaks. The natural grain gives it a rustic, handmade charm, and the scent—think cedar cabin meets forest after rain—is subtle but grounding freshness. It’s not one of those overpowering air fresheners that punches you in the face every time you open the door or has NO STICKINESS residue in any way such as those liquid type air fresheners. Instead, it lingers gently in the background, like a whisper of the woods.The aroma seems to be soaked deep into the wood, not just sprayed on the surface, which gives me hope for some staying power. It’s been hanging from the sun vusor for a day now, and the car gives off fresh air smell without feeling perfumed. The quality of the product seems durable and manageable, with a mganetic backing to hold up the freshener which is clipped on by the a piece of metal clip. I’ll check back in 30 days to see how it’s holding up—and again in six months to see if it’s still pulling its weight or just along for the ride.
