Wasn’t sure about the color on these, but with the shape, the size (together with the color), these blend very nicely into my area. Nice and sleek for items that can be thrown together for neatness and space saving ability. Small one holds keys and locks and odds and ends that I used to keep in a drawer – much more accessible now; middle one holds my readers and sunglasses and the large one is still empty – working on what to use that one for. They’re a bit heavier than I was expecting, but that helps them feel a bit more sturdy. Did I need them? no. Do they look fab and hold random miscellaneous items that are usually strewn about or put separately in drawers, etc? yes. Very nice. Thank you

Excellent quality but smelly
This set of boxes is very well made. The faux shagreen leather has an impeccable surface and is applied to the boxes skillfully with tidy stitching, even on the bottom exterior. The boxes themselves are sturdy and close tightly. The black handles are nice and smooth, and the hinges inside are excellent quality. The Amazon listing describes the interior lining of the boxes as “high quality soft velvet”. However, I would describe the lining as a soft, thin foam pad, because it has a plastic-like feel, rather than a fabric-like feel. The only real issue with these boxes is that they smell strongly of chemicals when you unbox them. This smell is still noticeable after two days of airing out, so be warned.

These are gorgeous and really exceeded my expectations. The color is beautiful, they are lined inside and soft. They are large and can fit a lot. I use them as decor pieces around the house. These are very quality pieces that will last a long time if taken care of. Great value.
