I have not got to use this yet, so I may update after using. I plan on using the clear version on a light pad for foundational paper piecing/ quilting and cutting fabric to sizes which meet my needs. I am hoping it is self healing as described and thick enough to support the weight of a rotary cutter and single fabric layers. It is as expected for a typical fabric type cutting board, a little flexible, slightly textured and mostly transparent.I will update if it suites my needs.I am avoiding the cost of a ready made set (light board, transparent cutting board, rotary cutting tool, ruler) branded for the purpose of paper piecing quilts.

Affordable & Durable
I do a lot of cutting of vinyl graphics and use a lot of #11 knife blades. Just got it about an hour ago and already using it. Cuts heal up nicely.

Works as advertised, looks exactly like the photos as well. I use it as a reference base for cutting pieces of plastic for miniature figures. Easy to clean. I’ve gotten lots of different painting mediums on it and it’s easy to remove. 👍🏻

Nice but smells
It’s a nice mat … I got a small one to use by the sewing machine so I did not have to go to my big cutting table.But … it has a terrible odor!! I can barely stand to use it. Hopefully it will fade soon. 🤮

Heavy duty, and great quality. Mine shipped in a flat box which was really nice so it didn’t have to be flattened. Seems to have good self healing

Great quality, Self healing doesn’t mean complete removal of cuts
This is a good cutting mat, especially for the price.When it says self-healing, what that really means is that the cuts themselves are stuck back together beneath the surface, but the cut line itself will still be visible regardless of how long you leave it to heal.The measuring lines are nice, you can definitely see through it if you have to, and it doesn’t do anything to make the actual cutting difficult to do.For the price, this is a VERY solid pick.

Arrived folded in half, but it laid flat very soon after unboxing. It’s perfect for my craft table. Grid lines accurately measure inches and centimetres. I’ve been cutting fabric on it with a rotating blade for 2-3 weeks and the mat heals up nicely. Pleasure to work on this surface. I Recommend this to any crafter.

We have an ikea table we just purchased recently for our crafting area and this mat is the perfect size and thickness to preserve the table top. The clear colour is great, it doesnt stand out too much and its very thick and durable, so i could see this lasting for a long time.
