Quiet affordable efficiency
This will be my 3rd cricut product. The 1st was a cricut Air2. It was nice but somewhat slow and noisy but kept for backup. 2nd was a used Maker that was quiet and much more efficient. It could also make cuts on wood which was great but it burnt out. This is my 3rd machine. I got it because it could do alot of the things a Maker could do at a lower price point. I like it alot but I wish I had gotten a Maker. I feel it’s a higher caliber machine than the Air4 but I’m satisfied with its quality of cuts and noise level. It’s maiden project was 100 fairly intricate cuts for the cover of a program that was very successful. I don’t love the machine but I like it alot.

Bought this for my cake toppers and it’s been great it’s overwhelming at first but once you start messing with it you start learning. Connects with cable or Bluetooth I think it’s worth the price I love it

Fun! Well built.
It’s been a lot of fun joining the cricut community. My wife and I have enjoyed making all sorts of apparel and still learning as we go. I definitely recommend this product. The software is a little bit limited when it comes to editing images, but it’s got a catalog of millions of images. I wish they let you export your image, but I get its proprietary. I do have bluetooth issues with my macbook, but I solved this by just going to hardwire.

The Cricut is great! The materials, however…
CRICUT MACHINE: The cricut explore 4 has been amazing! Clean cuts (when used correctly!) and mostly accurate pressure application. It left a bit of a cut in the mat when doing cardstock. Maybe I’m using the wrong options and cutting my mat that way? I’m unsure. The set up/start up guide was a little confusing and it didn’t say to use the mat for my test cut on the cardstock and it chewed the paper up. Oops!CONNECTIVITY: It connected to my phone via Bluetooth in like two seconds and sending print requests to the machine goes super fast! I only had one issue with it sending a print request early on, and I think it was because of my smart watch also using the Bluetooth. So be aware of that.CRICUT MATERIALS: I was really bummed when I saw the materials for the kit. They were all bent and crinkled and hard to stick to the mat (which was also bent and had to be carefully flattened). The sheets’ fronts bubbled up when I tried to smooth them on the mat and the bubbles caused one cut to tear an image (I got frustrated and threw away the cut mishap or I’d add a pic).
