A Real Disappointment
I ordered this machine as a Christmas present for my 13 year-old granddaughter. What a disappointment to have her open her present that was unuseable because none of the accessories listed on the box were included–including no power cord! I hope Amazon is not in the habit of sending out defective items like this on a routine basis!! We’ll see how much cooperation I receive from Provo Crafts and Amazon but for now I am a very, very, very disappointed grandma and my granddaughter was devastated!!!

A must for serious card makers!!
My wife had wanted this for a long time, but kept buying the hand cranked machines and die cut forms. After long deliberation she bought this and is extremely happy. Creates easily very professional cards. Takes the trouble out of finding different size die cuts of a flower. With one click you can create the same flower in all different sizes. Using the computer program that is bought separately (Cricut Design Center) makes this task even easier than it is already. For anyone hesitating, don’t anymore. Yes, the cartridges are pricey, but if you figure the amount of images you get on the cartridge and then the changes you can make personally to suit your needs, increases that contents even more. Try and do that with a single die-cut plate that you use for the other machines. One-size, one style–that is all you get from those that get to be pricey too. And the same thing for the Fonts. Large or small, it is all up to you. And with the help of Cricut Design Center program, those letters can now be made into words with the letters connected, therefore, no more pasting individual letters and hoping they are straight and evenly spaced. If you are using it just for cards, this size Cricut is more than you would ever need. If you think you need cutouts that are larger than 6 inches then look at one of the bigger machines. The Computer Program works as well with those.

Expression is the better way to go!
I have never owned a cricut, but have wnated one from the LITTLE that I had seen about them. I had no clue that there were different machines. I seen this on a shopping site and it was an amazing price for the package and flex pay on top of it. I finally recieved it in the mail got it open to find that it was not what I expected.In my opinion it is too small with not enough functions. I hated that I ALWAYS had to trim my papers down because (completely my fault for not paying closer attention before purchasing) it is a 6×12 mat instead of the 12×12 with the expression. I didn’t feel that it had very many function settings. I also did not care for the layout and set up of the display, it was extremely small (which is the point of the create but not my personal preference). I was not happy with this create, so I went online and did some research and decided that I wanted to return this for the expression. Which I absolutely love and completely happy with.I want to let it be known that I understand that the create was designed for portability and convience which is why it is smaller and less of the functions from the expression, however it is my opinion that I have no need for portability and if I did decide to take this with me somewhere it is not a big deal to me for the larger bigger expression, and therefore would rather have the larger machine with the 12×12 mat and the option of the extra functions.If you are looking for a machine that you can easily transport because you don’t want to take the expression this is the machine for you. If you dont mind size or always trimming the paper and would like something that is easy to take with you somewhere then this is the cricut to buy if you don’t mind the extra size and would like more functions I would recommend the then expression.

Cricut Create
Received item in a fairly timely matter.. However, when I received the machine it powered on but when I went to cut it would power off and restart. I spoke with Provocraft and was issued a mailing label to return the machine to them and they would send me a replacement machine. This process took 2 weeks to ship the item to them and receive the replacement machine. I’ve only had the replacement machine for a few days now and all is working well! I’m very happy with the replacement just wish it wouldn’t have taken so long to have a working Cricut Create Machine. On a positive side when I sent the 1st machine back to Provocraft I was instructed to only send the machine and nothing else. When the replacement arrived I had received the whole package again so now I have doubles of a lot of the necessities that make the machine work including an extra Don Juan Cartridge. So in the end because I did receive a whole new package it was worth the extra 2 week wait for the replacement!

Love It!
This product is great! I just purchased it to help me with my card-making. The timing was perfect as I was able to make personalized name cards for the guests at my daughter’s birthday. I was also able to cut cupcake wrappers that go with our color theme. And of course, I will be able to make a personalized birthday banner for my daughter. It’s amazing. I really love it. It’s also great for people who are into scrapbooking and other paper crafts.

My Cricut Create Machine
I was spending a lot of money on ebay and in the stores for die cuts and other scrapbooking items. I purchased my cricut not sure if I would use it enough to make it worth the money. I sure was worried for nothing. I love my cricut and do not regret buying it for a min. It is so much fun to use and is very easy to use also. I love my new “toy”. I recommend this product to everyone!!! I will save a lot of money. I find myself looking for any excuse to use my cricut!! My daughter has taken up scrapbooking too since I bought it and we have a lot of fun together. Everyone should have one!!!
