These are the size I was looking for, and was happy with it. I was not expecting much due to the size and price, which were deciding factors for this purchase!BUT they do not have a soft finished feel so heads up! Also, it was rough inside and out. The outside does have the nice dark stain which was a bonus I felt, but to make the box feel just a little touch more valuable… I had my son place sticky back velvet on the inside bottom. They worked good for what I wanted them for, but they are just unfinished pine boxes. with a small little clasp and hinges. They opened easy and has potential to really be dressed up nice with the right accessories!

According to the description, the box measures 6 inches in length, 4 inches in width, and 2 inches in height. However, I measured it, and it is closer to 5.75 inches x 3.75 inches x 1.75 inches. I know this discrepancy may seem minor, but it can be significant if you need the box to fit a specific purpose.The quality of the wood and hardware isn’t the highest, but considering the price of only $9.99, it could still be a good buy.

Cute little box, but it is LITTLE. Cannot even fit a 4×6 card inside! Have to have smaller 2×3 cards to fit inside the box. Didn’t work for what I needed and I returned it. Not a bad box, just way smaller than expected.

Black wooden box with gold hardware
Black Wooden Keepsake Box. Mine was close to 6″ × 4″ × 2″ and was stained flat black. There is no gloss or finish and the surface is only slightly smooth. Inside it is the same, flat black stain, no finish. Gold metal hardware was fastened with small wood screws and fit securely. Box is very lightweight for its size, and could be the foundation for a DIY with further finish work. Mine is currently doing duty, organizing herbal tea bag combinations we have collected.
