Premium wood color and clear texture

Note:
1. I can’t finish a print as the filament clogs the nozzle. What should I do?
(1) Special filaments such as carbon fiber, wood, fiberglass filled, etc. can be appropriately replaced with nozzles of larger diameter. Recommend a 0.6-size nozzle.
(2) Check the cooling fan, for different filaments, the cooling air volume is different. For example, for PLA, TPU, PETG, etc., the cooling air volume can be set to 100%, while for ABS, PA, PC, etc., the cooling air volume can be reduced appropriately.
(3) If there is gelatinization or carbide accumulation, clean the nozzle or replace it periodically.
(4) Check and overhaul or replace the extrusion clamp module/heating module.
2. The filament was crumbly and brittle as if it had been exposed to moisture. What should I do?
(1) Increase the printing temperature to the appropriate printing temperature of the filaments.
(2) If the filaments are unpacked and exposed to the air for a long time, moisture may be absorbed and can be dried in a dry box for 4-5h before use, newly unpacked consumables are recommended to be used up as soon as possible, such as unused and recommended to be vacuumed or sealed and dried for storage.

Prints Like a Dream on the P1S (Just Use a Hardened Nozzle)
Crealitys wood PLA caught me off guard. It worked great. I tested it on my Bambu Lab P1S. Prints came out clean as anything. No clogs happened. Stringing stayed away. Layer lines looked spot on.Texture feels real. Like actual wood. Not some shiny plastic knockoff. Finish is matte mostly. Grainy just enough. Sells the whole idea pretty well.Nozzle hit around 200 degrees C. Bed stayed at 60 degrees C. Adhesion stuck fine. Warping did not show up.Get a hardened steel nozzle though. Or one that resists wear. Wood filament chews brass ones quick. You know how that goes.Sanded it light after printing. Added a clear coat fast. Thing looked carved for real. Printing was simple. No real tuning needed. End result turns out nice. Worth grabbing if wood vibe is what you after. Without all the usual mess.

What will YOU print?!
This filament has been very reliable for 3D printing. It feeds smoothly through the printer without tangling or clogging, and the prints come out consistent with good detail and strong layer adhesion. The 1.75mm diameter is accurate and even, which helps avoid printing issues. The spool size at 1kg lasts a long time, making it cost-effective for bigger projects as well as smaller test prints. The material quality is solid, with minimal stringing and warping once you dial in the right settings.Dependable, easy to work with, and a great value for regular 3D printing.

Good price/performance, and matches the K1C (see details). Recommended
So, I added a Creality K1C to my printer collection recently. I was disappointed to find that my printer didn’t ship with the spool holder. I didn’t intend to back-mount my filament anyway, but I was expecting to print and use the side spool holder. Guess what, the side spool holder re-uses the tube assembly! I decided to just get the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer, instead. As far as filament care goes, I don’t really do everything I should. My basement isn’t damp, but the 45%-ish RH isn’t perfect, either. To that end, I do use a Sunlu S2 dryer that I have had for a couple years. There’s nothing wrong with it, but the controls are on the side of the dryer, which is not appropriate for use with the K1C.My first experience with the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer was positive. It was packed well, and didn’t suffer any damage in shipping. It also looks a lot like the K1C, which is a nice touch. As far as the operation of the device goes, it’s fairly quiet. The controls are intuitive. Performance seems fine. I wish that the thing could either be linked to the operation of my K1C, or could shut off within a certain amount of time of the rollers supporting the spool not moving any more. I’m planning on addressing this with a kludgy z-wave solve, but it would be better if this were considered in the design. There’s a PTFE tube guiding the filament out of the dryer. I don’t necessarily love that, especially since there’s another PTFE tube guiding the filament into the K1C, but it’s only an inconvenience when changing filament. But hey, who does that often? Oh, nvm.In terms of build quality, it looks way more solid than it is. The unit is tippy when the lid is flipped open, but you don’t operate it with the lid open. Overall, it’s more robust than my Sunlu S2, but it’s not exactly a tank.I think it’s a great companion to the K1C, and it makes me almost 100% certain to actually dry my more expensive hygroscopic filaments (PVA and nylon). However, the convenience of this also being my spool means that I’m way more likely to use it for my PLA and ABS, too. I don’t print TPU at all, without drying it first. As a dryer, the Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer is decent. The $65 price is good enough that I consider it an essential K1C upgrade. Recommended

A great idea, but the cheap electronics make it not last very long.
I’ve owned this for just more than a year, and don’t really use it that often. It was extremely useful when I did use it.About 6 months ago the fan started getting noisy and eventually stopped working. There is a replacement fan available, so I swapped that out myself. The replacement has been working great. However, I turned it on today and now the temperature sensor is dead and the display is flashing the error code E4. Creality support says the motherboard is probably dead, but it’s out of warranty so I’m out of luck. I could purchase a replacement motherboard, but that’s half the cost of a new unit. So, it looks like I’ll be looking at one from a different brand.

A decent wood option
This stuff looks good and works great.Good for making trees and cabins.

This filament works flawlessly in my Creality K1 Max. The colour is vibrant, and the filament feeds smoothly with no clogs or stringing. It adheres well to the bed and produces strong, detailed prints, even at high speeds. Highly recommend for reliable and high-quality results!

I’ve gone through one whole roll. Seems to work fine.
