A Travel Must If You Value Neat and Tidy Packing
When I pack for travel, it is always a balancing act between taking what I need and want vs wanting to travel with as little luggage as possible. This usually means I am vacuum packing things that won’t wrinkle or I don’t care of they do (you KNOW which garments I’m talking about!) and packing things like its a game of tetris. These bags allow me to compartmentalize and pack in a way that utilizes space efficiently. In a recent trip, it actually allowed me to pack more than I usually could putting me over the weight limit but luckily the counter agent both ways didn’t notice or care. It also allows me to separate dirty from clean on the return trip.The zippers are high quality YKK zippers with sturdy pull cords on the end. It is a small detail but makes it easier to open and close the bag. Inside the bag are straps to secure garments and make closing easier. When not in use, all of the bags fit inside each other before being stored inside the included storage pouch.

Large cubes good for big bags
The grey (and orange) color matches other Cipway grey/orange packing organizers and the shell material is light and seems resistant to ripping from the zipper. The small and medium sized cubes are 60% larger than the compression style of the same size. I can easily put two pairs of pants and still have space with these size Small cubes, where one pair of pants mostly fills their other small compression ones.This set needs either 2 carry-ons or a larger checked bag to use all the cubes when mostly filled. I would really like if Cipway sold a mix of compression and full size like these. Ideally, I will be packing with compression cubes then move stuff into these full size for organization and easier access when at the hotel.Picture shows small cube from this set on right vs. other small compression cube on left for comparison of size and colors.

Ok…so I received these as part of the Amazon Vine program. I’ll be frank, sometimes Amazon Vine items are a bit iffy. As such, I didn’t really expect much from these packing cubes.I expected these be similar to the cubes offered by Aldi from time to time. The Aldi cubes are little rough, seems not done properly, second rate zips, but functional. You know the drill. I don’t really expect the Aldi packing cubes to last a long time. So these cubes, I thought they’d probably be ‘Aldi’ standard – well, I was completely wrong!These are way nicer than the cheap Aldi cubes – ok, they are a little more expensive, but they are much higher quality and I think there’s some bigger cubes included here. I picked up some Eagle Creek cubes a while back in a sale – still pricey as Eagle Creek is though. I’d say that in many areas these surpass the Eagle Creek cubes also, which is insane given the price disparity.The label says YKK zippers, and the zips are indeed smooth running. Seams are properly sewn, and the material used feels very stout (though perhaps is just slightly heavier than some other cubes as a result.Overall, I’m over the moon with these. Probably helps that I got them free, but I would turn around and pay the asking without hesitation should I need more cubes (and I am in fact looking at the other packs from Cipway right now). They far surpassed my expectations. I’ll be giving them a proper workout in coming weeks when I next go overseas, but fully expect them to be up to the task!Highly recommended!

Perfect range of sizes that fit a surprisingly large amount and compress when the air is pushed out of them.I have just finished packing my suitcase for a 10 day holiday and have been able to group items together in a systematic manner.The packing cubes will also be great while I’m away as I’ll be able to pack my washing back into them and just empty them into the washing machine when I get home.
