Wow! I really love this set of punch needle craft tools. I already have 2 other basic punch needle tools but neither is as fine as these tools. I have just gotten back into doing this wonderful craft and loving it. These tools will be a big help.The 3 varying sizes of punch needles for the wooden handle base are smooth, well-constructed, and easy to thread. The points have just the right sharpness to be able to punch through a variety of fabrics. After you choose your needle, dependent on the thickness of the yarn, you’ll need to screw it onto the wood handle. I was able to easily screw each needle to the handle base for a secure fit. However, I do wish the kit had included a small screwdriver. Those are hard to find in my house. 🥴I love the smaller punch needles. I can now use thin threads, like embroidery and glitter threads, to incorporate into my punch needle designs. With this set of 6 needles, you do not have to use a screw driver to screw them into the metal base. You just push the needles into the metal base. It’s that simple. It’s interesting how snuggly they fit, no wobbling or coming loose when I tested them out. And, they are easy to remove from the base. You just need to pull them out.Although they are small, they were easy to use and did not cramp the muscles in my hand. They also threaded easily. The super long threader did the trick in helping me to thread all of the punch needles.The wide-eyed tapestry needles are also quite unique. I already have blunt rounded and sharp wide-eyed needles, but none like these needles. These needles have a point but not a super sharp point, so they will not prick you. That little bit of a point helps to glide the needle more easily through any tapestry fabric. The cute little flower needle threader is a definite plus. I like how the flower will help me to find this little threader.The red marking pen emits no bad odor. It has interesting directions inscribed on the pen. The inscribed instructions state to try out the pen on a scrap of cloth first before using it on your tapestry cloth. It also cautions to not take the cap off with your mouth, but to use your hands. 😁 I think this advice is to prevent any customer from accidentally swallowing or choking on the cap. I don’t think it has anything to do with the ink since the ink emits no chemical odor. From those messages I gather that this is company who cares about their product and their customers.The written description of the product on Amazon states that this kit includes a thread cutting scissors. However, a scissors is not depicted in the illustration of the product. I want to clarify that my set did not include a scissors.I definitely appreciate the plastic storage container. I like to keep my craft and sewing supplies well-organized. This kit organizer does the trick. Everything fits in; it is small and easy to store; and, it has the added advantage ofbeing transparent so that you can see all of your punch needle tools before opening the case.One thing this set of tools is missing is a little instruction booklet. I think all tools and craft kits should include directions. I know that some people never read any directions, but I like to learn and want to always know how to use tools most effectively. Instructions would assure that I could do that.The cost of $9.99 appears to be a fair price, as compared to similar punch needle and tapestry needle kits on the market. I recommend this kit to anyone, who is enjoying or wants to learn the gorgeous art of punch needle crafting.
