    Perfect little kit.
I purchased this kit to take with me on a trip to Cambodia this past winter. I am an EMT back in the states and this kit was the perfect little travel kit. It’s big enough to cover anything short of a critcial emergency but it was small enough to not at all be a burden for my backpacking trip. Went right in the bottom of my bag and I forgot it was there until I needed it, and when I did it worked perfectly. We used the medications, the cut and scrape stuff, and there was enough spare room in it to keep some homeopathic remedies with us as well. I keep this thing stocked and ready at home, as it also serves as a perfectly equipped and sized home first aid kit. Definately multi purpose, I would take this with me car camping as well.

    Excellent – I got several!
Organization useful and instructions great. I rarely need or use First Aid so this is helpful for the novice. I’ve been to 92 countries and there have been times when this kit would have really helped. Not always easy to find a MD or clinic even if you are staying in a decent hotel. I fainted once from the heat at the Pyramids. The electrolyte salts would have been handy then! My sister got montezumas revenge after eating in a local restaurant and we had no imodium. I fell and got a big gash in my leg in the underground tunnels in Turkey – no help in sight! Now I am older and wiser and will always carry this kit. Contents are good and there is enough room to add meds and specific items you may need. Have recommended to my fellow travelers. I bought another one and used for emergency first aid in my car kit.

Very good traveling First Aid and-then-some kit
This is an initial inspection review. I’ll come back after our trip and post a usage review. The kit is a well-conceived and well-implemented generalized kit for traveling, especially to where imperfect water or unfamiliar foods might give you problems. The kit has a very wide assortment of typical First Aid supplies as well as supplies oriented toward traveling. It does NOT have some of the items you might want if you are traveling to a more dangerous place or a place without readily accessible medical services. But, the kit has pockets into which you can put those things.I added an AMK Dental Medic kit and an AMK Suture Syringe Medic kit. From other sources, I added a clotting sponge, some burn gel packets, a roll of self adhesive gauze, a triangular bandage, some more Blue Nitrile gloves, a small black Sharpie-style marker, and a combat-style tourniquet. Because my wife and I are traveling to the Caribbean, I tucked in some bug repellent wipes and bug-itch cream. The bag is “almost” big enough for all that. ;^)I only have two smallish issues (hence only 4 stars), and one “wish” so far. First, the clear plastic used in the various pockets and pouches is very “grabby” or “sticky,” and that makes it difficult to remove items and replace items. Granted, removing items is easier, and that’s fine in the potential emergency. Second, the cloth along one side of the zipper on the main compartment was already separating from the zipper when the package arrived. This is a problem that will grow worse with usage and with stuffing more items into the pack. I will likely have to get out my kit repair kit and do a little sewing to halt/correct the separation. Overall, those are smallish issues when compared with the design, content, and volume of supplies that come in this kit, AND its ability to be tailored. My wish is that the kit were designed a bit more oversized for the supplies included so that additions won’t “over stuff” the kit.

    Missing items
The quality seems acceptable, though there have been reports of off-brand medications and missing items. The package weighs approximately two pounds. Unfortunately, the company has not responded to email inquiries. However, it appears there is additional storage available for personal staff. The book itself is quite good.

Compact, well stocked medical kit for home or travel
We had no kind of medical kit at all so this is a great starter kit with all the basic essentials. It’s also a small kit so it would be easy to take while camping or traveling.I read another post about some items missing, so make sure you check the following site for the exact contents of this kit before you buy to make sure it has everything you need ([…]%20Travel#). My kit was actually missing the moleskin, but I emailed Adventure Medical and they promptly sent me the missing items, no questions asked so their customer service seems to be excellent!

    Poor/cheaply made.
I am very disappointed with this kit. I have buy a number of items from this company and had some success with using them as a starting place for first aid, but this was bad. I thought I may have gotten a lemon so I pulled out another same kit and much to my surprise the kit was a mess. It seems that the plastics and materials they use do not, let me repeat this , they do not hold up with time. The plastic fogged and broken into pieces , and the stuff (being nice) looked in poor shape, I would NOT like to have a injury and pull this kit out, and for the Approx. $90.00 I was very, very disappointed. There are better kits on Amazon that can and will do a better job.

    A Welcome Gift
I bought this as a gift for someone who is planning some far-flung travels and it was very happily received. It’s quite substantial and contains a good variety of supplies as well as providing space for personal medical care items. The case is well designed and durable & I’m sure will be put to good use long after the supplies have either been used or expired. All in all, a worthwhile purchase & I might well consider getting one for myself if I ever make that trip to Africa that I dream of!
