If you’re a crafter and have a cutting machine? Get it! It has a lot of the essential tools and is reasonably priced for the major convenience it has provided my crafting studio!

I wanted to test this kit out with my Cameo since I don’t prefer the Cricut and it just sits on the desk. Most of these tools are made for Cricut users though. For example, the ruler is only 8″ long. My Cameo cuts 12″ so this ruler wouldn’t do me any good. The scissors are super sharp. Good they come with a cover. However, they are so small. This would be bad for a large job. I do like that the actual paper cutter came in a 12″. Comes with a lot of weeding tools. I’ve been designing for years, so I’ve gotten used to using specific tools. A light up tablet is included which is probably the coolest part and probably half the price of what you’re paying for this kit.Overall, for a new Cricut user, this is a good value kit because Cricuts don’t come with anything. If you use anything from Silhouette, you would want to stick to other tools.

Wonderful starter tool set
This is a great set of tools to use with my new Cricut machine. There are several different weeding tools included. Each tool has a nice easy to hold handle and there are different blades and angled picks.There’s a sharp small pair of scissors with a blade cover in case you want to travel and not poke a hole in your bag. There’s a small craft knife too. There is a scraper and a nice rubber brayer.A fairly large set of markers is included in this set along with two adapters to hold them in the machine. I can’t wait to try that!There is a sliding type paper cutter. It’s probably not going to replace my larger paper cutters, but it could be very handy.The most interesting thing included is a light board. I can see how this is going to help a great deal to see the lines the machine has cut on the vinyl when I want to weed it. The board works with a simple power switch and has 3 levels of brightness, and none are so bright they hurt the eyes. I’m definitely very happy to have this tool.The little weeding scrap cup will be handy, and a steel ruler is always good to have on hand.I am very happy that I have these tools to make my new Cricut experience more enjoyable. It was a great thing to get and I am sure I will get a lot of use out of this product. All the items seem to be of very reasonably good quality and should last me a long time.
