Inexpensive but not cheap
Just ordered these for a recent trip to Chicago where I was only taking a carry on. I filled the cubes as normal. I was shocked when my cube with sweaters, sweatshirts, and hoodies REALLY compressed after zipping the compression zip. Didn’t feel like it was going to break and really helped with space in my suitcase.

Checked bag set appears of lesser quality than solid color set.
I purchased a set of the beige checked for myself and a set of black for my husband. Seems the quality of the black set is better than the checked set. The black ones are great and I will leave separate review for them after I use them on an upcoming trip. However, two out of four of the checked bags had defective zippers. I paid slightly more for the 4 checked bag set than I did for 5 black bag set just because I liked the cute design. I returned the defective checked set and will replace with another solid color set of 5 and hopefully they’ll be good like the black ones.
