They were thinner than expected and the gripper layer on the mitts was pretty thin, so the balls kind of bounce off.

Great little game for small children!
The kids love it. My five year old is in t ball and we use this to help him get used to catching the ball. His little brother loves it too! It’s a little flimsy but no complaints for what it is. Balls are soft and no chance of hurting your little ones if they get one to the face. Super fun and a great diversion for kids!

Great fun. I bought this for my Grandson and I. He is still working on his hand eye coordination and not ready for a heavy ball or a proper mitt. This is a perfect practice tool for us. The ball is lightweight, soft, but can still be tossed across the room. He can easily grab it and control it without it slipping or being dropped. The pads are also lightweight easy to wield, velcro will stop the ball even if it catches a small part of the surface area. He can easily grip the paddle. He really enjoys it, keeps him interested for more than half an hour. Overall the weight and size are easy for a toddler and adults to use. Soft enough that in most cases it wont break anything ( no issues here) Stands up to use and a good price. Recommended.

Simple outdoor toy that kept the kids busy, but it’s not the most durable.Quality: The velcro mitts grip well and are lightweight, but the balls are made of thin foam and lost shape quickly after a few rough tosses.Price Point: Decent price for four sets, but feels more like a temporary toy.Functionality/Use: Good for short-term backyard fun or beach play, especially for younger kids. Just don’t expect them to hold up if stepped on or left in the sun.
