Essential tool I’d you have more than 1 printer
If you have one/two printers then this might not be so useful to you. You can cut the PTFEs using other tools which is not ideal (as they often get squished and deformed) but works.I currently run 12 printers and all of them with Multicolor systems so there is a lot of tubing that I need to keep up with.This cutter is super sharp,and just works the way it should.Clean cut each time, no squish, perfect right angle

Best tool for Bowden tubes!
Pretty solid little tool set for any 3D printing setup. The cutter makes clean, flat cuts on PTFE tubing without crushing or leaving burrs, which helps with smoother filament flow. It’s simple to use and feels decently sturdy for the price. Not the fanciest kit, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to. Great for quick maintenance, replacing Bowden tubes, or setting up new printers. For the cost, it’s good value—functional, durable enough for regular hobby use, and makes the job a lot easier.

Good tube or filament cutter. I ordered this to use with my 3d printing station and have used it to make quick and clean cuts to pla and tpu filament strands prior to feeding into my printer. It cuts quickly and leaves a true 90 degree cut. Solid and well built. Clearly not something you want around children, so take appropriate precautions…but otherwise a good buy at this price! I am sure it will work easily on anything round and flexible like thin gauge cord or string as well. Recommended.

This 3D Printer Tool Set – Includes Tube Cutter PTFE Tube Specialized Cutter 3D Printer Bowden Tube Flat Cutoff No Flattening No Burr (3D printer cut tool set) works as expected. It is a tube cutter that happens to work with 3D filament. I wouldn’t call a single item a “set” but whatever. It works for cutting filament and small plastic tubing. Nothing impressive.

I have no idea why they’re trying to call this a “set”. It’s just a simple tube cutter. It’s better than using a side cutter. That’s about all I can say about it.

This cutter does what it’s supposed to do (cut PTFE tube without crimping) and it does it reasonably well. You can also use it to cut other kinds of small tubing, so it’s handy to have around. Do you NEED it? Probably not. But, it’s not very expensive and it’s incredibly easy to use, so it may be worth it for the convenience.

Great Tool to Have with Your 3D Printer
This is a great little tool that does exactly what it says. It makes clean, straight cuts in filament tubes.
