Great resin!
I got this just for small projects on its own rather than with a printer and it’s been great! The smell isn’t anything out of the ordinary which is my biggest thing. Nothing is worse than getting a headache after working with resin, sometimes even with proper gear. The quality I’ve gotten from using a UV light to cure has been good, using it for small decorations and thin pieces. A little bit fragile but if you go in with that in mind you’ll be well set. You get a good sized bottle for the cost and depending on how frequent of a maker you are it’ll last awhile if you’re going at it with small projects. All in all, works great and has been a fantastic art project addition!

Prints a little slower, but produces good results, similar to most standard resins.
This Funcrecol resin is the beige/skin color. I found it prints a bit slower than what I normally print at. Most of the resins I’ve used print with 35 second burn-in bottom layers and 2.7 second normal layers, with .03 mm layers. I almost never change my lift speeds and I didn’t have to with this resin as it isn’t particularly viscous. With this I had to bump my times up to 40 second bottom layers and 3 second normal layers.Once your settings are dialed in it produces good detail, however, other than it having a nice matte finish, it is a fairly hard and brittle resin like most standard resins. You have to be more careful with your prints when using this resin. I typically use standard resins for bigger things without lots of small, fine, and fragile parts. For me that means big miniatures and terrain pieces like buildings and such. This will go into that category for me.The resin is fairly stinky, as most are. It definitely isn’t a low odor resin. I found that is cleans up as well as most resins I’ve used. I didn’t have any problems washing all of the uncured resin from my prints.A surprising addition to the package was a small tub of UV putty. It is a smart little bit of advertising for the product. However, when I say little I mean little. It is about the same diameter as a US quarter/ 25 cent piece. There isn’t a lot in it, but it is only intended as a sample. They advertise it as a fix for broken prints, but for me it’s better used for patching seams on multi-part prints when you assemble them. I spreads nicely and cures hard. It seems to adhere to prints well and not come loose once cured. If you aren’t careful how you apply it you will have to do a lot of clean up on the seams. It comes with a small square of sand paper, but you’ll want to be very careful sanding the resin. You really want to avoid inhaling resin dust as it is quite bad for you.Price wise this is a bit higher than most standard resins, but far from the most expensive resin I’ve used. I can’t mark it down any, even though it shares the problems of standard resins. I rate it for what it is and not what I’d like it to be.

FUNCECOL 3D Printer Resin, High Precision & Opaque Appearance
I will preface this by saying that I hate reviewing resins as results are going to be very dependant on your machine and settings… That said for me, using my default settings, this resin performed well, as has every other Funcecol resin I have used… No issues at all, just beware it’s a standard resin so it’t going to be more brittle then some of the ‘tough’ resins out there that I tend to use, but ont he flip side standard resin generally produces more crips lines an finer detail, a trade off…

High-Quality Resin for Crisp, Detailed Prints
I’ve been using the FUNCECOL 3D Printer Resin for a few weeks now with my 405nm UV-curing LCD printer, and I’m impressed by the results.Key points:High Precision: Prints come out with excellent detail and smooth surfaces, even at 8K resolution. Perfect for miniatures and intricate models.Opaque White: The resin features a beautiful, opaque appearance, making painting and finishing easier.Easy to Use: It pours smoothly and cures quickly under 405nm UV light. No unpleasant odor compared to some other resins I’ve tried.Consistent Quality: Each batch seems consistent with no issues like clumping or uneven curing.Overall:If you want high-detail, reliable resin for your LCD, DLP, or MSLA printer, this FUNCECOL resin is a fantastic choice. The 1000g size is generous and great value for the quality.

Good Quality Results for the Price
This skin toned photopolymer 3D printing resin from Funcrecol is substantially lower in price that many other 1KG bottles that I’ve used in the past. This resin has good flow and printed well on my old Longer 30 resin printer. Depending on the machine, the exposure time may need some adjustment depending on your layer thickness. I printed a small head that I created from a scan and used the basic settings for a standard rapid UV resin where the exposure time was preset to 6 seconds for a 0.025mm layer. The bottom layers usually get longer exposure and I had no issues with this resin bonding to the build plate. I was very pleased with the fine detail it captured but this is mostly as the scan was quite detailed to begin with. I did run a test print first which came out almost perfect but I may still adjust the exposure to 8 seconds as for smaller items, some areas can get very thin. The resin does have some odor but no more or less than other brands I’ve tried. My only observation is that the cured prints are a little on the brittle side but at this price point, it is probably to be expected. The skin color was ideal for my bust print and the pigment seems to hold well in the suspension without too much settling, but I always shake these bottles well before they go in the vat. At $21.84 for 1000g of resin, it may not be the strongest but it still gets 5 stars for print quality.
