Ultimate beginner kit
I do a lot of 3D printing but just moved some machines to a second home and needed some basic tools for that location. This kit comes in a nice carrying case, perfect for cleaning up the workspace and shoving it all in a closet when company is over. Admittedly, there are some low value dollar store type items in here, but they are balanced by the mini rotary tool, which works better than expected, and other bigger pieces. Two things not included that I use a lot and had to buy separately are a digital caliper measuring tool (probably only necessary if you design your own models) and plastic razor blade style scrapers. If you’re buying your first printer or giving one as a gift, this is a great accessory kit that will have them printing in day one.

Some useful tools, but quality is not great
This 3D printing tool set is not great.It starts with the box itself — it’s not horrible, but it’s definitely not high quality. It feels like something you could pick up in any dollar store. The latches are difficult to latch, and it’s cheaply made. There are zero dividers — so there is absolutely no way to organize these tools at all. I’m creating gridfinity boxes to go in here, but the reality is I shouldn’t have to — I’ve gotten other tool sets that are neatly organized (or at least organizable), but this is just an empty box with nothing to compartmentalize.The tool box came exactly as the pictures show — there was no outer box and it came in an Amazon pack. When I opened the latches, all of the tools were just haphazardly thrown into the box — scattered all over the place, things had fallen out of their packages, etc. There was no care in putting this together before sending. There was some minor damage to parts (e.g. one of the tubes that the unclogging needles came in was shattered, although the needles are still contained…just bits of it came apart).The tools themselves vary. Some are okay, some are cheap, some are useful, some I don’t see the purpose (seriously, knit finger covers? why?). For example, the deburring tool is okay, the screwdriver and tips kit seems fairly decent (although the handle itself seems just a little flimsy), the angled scraper is pretty nice, and the rotary tool (although a very cheap knock off of a Dremel) seems to work okay. However, the scissors are very flimsy and will not last long, the wire brushes are cheap feeling, and the retractable blade cutter has zero English instructions — it’s all in Chinese (to me this is dangerous for someone that doesn’t know how to use one).This kit does come with a lot, there is not doubt. However for the price of this, the components should be much better quality. I think there are better options for the same price or less that may have less pieces, but you really need to evaluate what you actually require for a tool set. You may be better off getting a smaller set with high quality tools that you actually use.

Complete and utter Chaos
I recently got into 3D printing and because of that I find myself needing tools that I currently don’t have in my arsenal of tools. So I thought this would be great as it has alot of things I would probably need. Here’s my beef; when I opened the box up, and then opened the contents, there was just stuff thrown in there, no organization, nothing. Just a bunch of stuff thrown in. So if you were hoping to find something to keep your tool organized and together look elsewhere. I haven’t used everything but the rotary has been fantastic for smoothing out some edges that I would have normally used my dremel for and the screw bits have been great especially since a couple of the projects i’ve used requires M6 screws.I definitely like it, but I will end up chucking the box and looking for a right and proper case where I can store things because in the way it is now I won’t be able to find ANYTHING.

A fantastic value for a starter kit.
This kit really does have everything a starter into the hobby could need, and frankly I’m surprised at the high quality they DO deliver. For this price I wouldn’t expect to get half of these tools individually, but we have wire brushes, files, rotary tool, de burring, measurement, refinement and so much more tools in this one box. I think other reviewers are losing track of the high value for money this kit provides, and while it may not be the finest version of any tool the kit is fully functional and will get anyone who knows what they are doing onto the right track.I think this is a fantastic value for anyone starting, either for themselves or as a gift.

Not a good kit – nice screwdriver
I’m really big on first impressions; and my first impression of this ‘kit’ is that they grabbed a bunch of random things people associate with 3D printing and tossed them in this carrying case. It’s however just an open, non fitted case, so this will basically look like your junk drawer. You’ll never really find what you’re looking for. A large majority of these items are very cheap and can be had for pennies. This brings me to the next point; value. For the price they are asking (almost $60), you are getting about MAYBE half of what you are paying for in items. This should be about $20-$30. And that’s only because the screwdriver kit and rotary tool are at least functional products that could stand on their own. The rotary tool is “ok” and isn’t a big selling point to me since not many people do much work to their prints that would require it. You’re better off picking up the specific tools for your needs separately.
