REALLY good product here!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I saw someone talk about this product on Twitter, and decided to ask them for a link to buy it. I haven’t used it yet, but I can tell it should work just fine. The only problem I have is that when you push out the pieces on either end, it’s a bit hard to do. you have to use a bit of force. However, they were nice enough to add a 3d printed piece that you can stick behind the slider piece to keep it opened (there are 2 of these, one for each, but you can also use both on the same one if you wanted to). So you only need to open each side once, if you really want. I will get a lot of use out of these!

One strand of thread.
It works better for just 1 strand of thread. If you are using more than 1 strand of thread such as for cross-stitching it does not work.

Horrible mechanics
My job has me sewing on machines as well as hand sewing. I keep several hand needles threaded and ready to go a a moment’s notice. This product does not do a good job of threading hand sewing needles. Approximately one out of five attempts actually threaded the needle. The rest of the times either cut the thread or simply didn’t thread the needle. The instructions say that you have to place the eye of the needle facing the hook that you put the thread on. Which is counter-productive, since the whole point of my getting this product was to a) make threading multiple needles fast and efficient for my team and b) making it easy for anyone who’s eyesight isn’t what it used to be. Placing the eye facing toward the thread wasn’t easy anyway, because the hole you put the needle in doesn’t snuggly hold the need. So you carefully put the needle with the eye facing the right direction, but just the simple task of sliding the hook out (which sticks, by the way) and placing the thread on it, causes the needle to jump around, at which point it’s no longer facing the right direction. As for the seam ripper, the slide you have to push forward to expose the seam ripper isn’t meant to stay in place. The slide is on a coil, so you put the seam ripper out and if you let go of the slide the seam ripper slips back into the casing. You have to hold your finger on the slide, pushing it forward in order to use it. It would have been much more efficient if sliding the ripper all the way out were to lock it in place. I don’t know where this product was made but their R&D was woefully under developed. And I seriously doubt they did any testing of the product before putting through manufacturing.

Love this! I have arthritis and have experienced increasing frustration threading a needle…especially those with a tiny eye. I was skeptical this would help with the tiny eyed ones but it did! Thank you!

Hard to operate this tool, it only works for medium sized needles. Larger ones do not fit in, neither is it suitable for small needles.In short don’t waist yor money on this one, it’s crap. One star but even a half star is too much.
