These packing cubes have revolutionized travel for my toddler.
I ordered these packing cubes in pink to organize my daughter‘s belongings when we travel. We frequently travel to my daughter‘s grandmother‘s house, and typically all of her clothing items are loose inside one single suitcase. These packing cubes provide a way for my daughter to have more organization within her suitcase. We use one for tops, one for bottoms, one for pajamas, and one for socks and underwear. My daughter really likes the organizational aspect. They have a mesh front so that you can easily tell what’s in each compartment. They are not true compression bags in the sense that you cannot squeeze air out of them and there is no valve that prevents air from coming back in. They offer compression in the sense that you can squeeze as much as you can into the packing cube. They are washable and you can throw them in the dryer. I really like that. The zippers are sturdy because cheap zippers ruin a product. The storage capacity is very good. I was able to pack a week’s worth of summer clothing in these packing cubes. These are a great value because they are fun and functional.

Cute, durable, does save a small bit of space for certain items
I got these for a trip abroad, where space was a premium. I tried packing bulkier items like long sleeve shirts, fleeces, pants, and pullovers. However, I did not have much success getting each bag to condense much more than it was when everything was zipped in. I ultimately removed the original pieces and filled the bags with socks and underwear. With the underwear (packed flat), the bag did condense more. I used another bag to pack an extra set of clothes in my carryon. Again, it did condense, but not as much as I had hoped from the photos & description. The bags are well made, and the zippers seem strong. The unicorn print is cute and fun. I have 4 stars (vs 5), because they offer more of an organizational than space-saving function. Still great for packing; just not so much for conserving space.

The fabric is lightweight yet durable; after a couple of trips, it still looks new with no fraying or tearing. Best of all, our granddaughter absolutely loves the fun unicorn print and cheerful color, which makes packing feel like part of the adventure for her.If you’re traveling with a toddler, these cubes not only keep things neat for the adults but also give kids a sense of ownership over their belongings. I took a chance on these and have been impressed so far! My trip isn’t for another month, but I tested one of the packs out on a big puffy winter coat of mine (women’s size M). As you can see in the video, the end result is soooo much less bulky. I’ve never come across this 2-zip system before, but it actually does effectively flatten your clothes even more than a single zip does. You do have to wrestle with it quite a bit to help it along, but the zippers look and feel relatively sturdy and seemed to take the manhandling just fine. However…. While these *are* good, I’m sure there are even better out there, relative to cost. I do think that the quality of these is quite good for the price. I’ve gotten so-called compression bags that were total jokes — such chintzy zippers and thin material — but these are definitely a tier well above those. Depending on how much you stuff into them, I imagine these would last at least a couple vacations before a seam blows out. Do note that they are NOT waterproof, like the title says, as one side is comprised of a huge mesh panel. Totally recommend them if you wanna neaten your luggage and maximize what you can fit inside. One more thing: inside, all the edges of fabric are neatly enclosed in binding. In other words, the finished edges will ensure that the fabric won’t fray if you want to send these through the washing machine. The cheaper ones I had had raw edges and frayed miserably in the wash.
