This has made the biggest difference in reducing my load for camping now.
I really enjoy camping with my son but having to load and unload gear can get out of hand. I found myself really wanting something that was small and lightweight, quick and easy to use, comfortable, but also affordable. Unfortunately most products never seem to cover all the bases. There will be high end products that seem perfect, but the price costs more than the rest of my gear combined, or you’ll find affordable and comfortable sleeping mats, but they achieve this with thick chunky materials that take up the majority of your bag space. This was not the case with this sleeping mat! When I saw the dimensions and cost I bought it hesitantly expecting there to be a catch and the quality to suffer, but after the first night’s use I was sold and bought a second right away. Not only does this take up less space in my bag than any other sleeping mat I own, but with the two way valve I was also able to remove the need for a separate inflator and compatible battery. In fact thanks to the built in pillow I was able to take a large bulky pillow off the list of items to bring as well. (I still bring a small travel size pillow, but that’s because typically I use a thicker than average pillow, so the fact that the travel pillow is enough now is a good testament to the sleeping mat’s built in pillow’s addition.)I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to lighten and streamline their load on trips where the weather won’t get too cold (in those instances you’ll want to look for something with a higher R-Value to insulate you from the ground better).

Back Packing Air Mattress
Very surprised. I had a high dollar sleeping pad that kept leaking. I finally tossed it and purchased this one just to hold me over. It’s lighter than the high dollar one I had and significantly less expensive. Figured it would be good for one trip. Well crap, this thing is better than the one I had. It’s extremely well designed and has one way air valves both for inflating and deflating. Material seems to be very solid. I was expecting something like you would float on in the ocean. No leaks at all. I sleep on my side and it gave me good support. It also has a built in pillow which is really nice as well as a self contained pump for inflating. A lot of Chinese products can seem like cheap copies but this thing is really well designed and constructed. I did four nights on the AT and no leaks at all. I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this air mattress. I will have to have six months of using it repeatedly to be totally sold but as it stands this is the best air mattress I’ve owned yet.

Definitely Beats Sleeping Directly on the Ground
This is a great sleeping pad for the price. It’s fairly lightweight and compact, making it a solid option for shorter primitive camping trips. For longer backpacking adventures, you might want something a bit lighter or smaller, but this one definitely does the job well. It’s easy to inflate thanks to the built-in foot pump—it works quickly and holds air throughout the night without leaking. Packing it back up takes a little technique, but once you get the hang of it (fold it into thirds lengthwise, 1/3 side, 1/3 side, then the middle, and roll), it fits nicely into the carrying bag.The material can be a bit noisy if you move around a lot, but that’s a small tradeoff for the comfort it provides compared to sleeping directly on the ground. Overall, a comfortable, affordable, and reliable camping mat.

sleeping pad
excellent pad. i am an outdoorsmen and used this on an elk hunting trip. i was a little skeptical because my own estimated R value but i was more concerned with comfort.when inflating the pad it will shrink to half its size. i used an additional backpacking pad under this to increase R value. i am a 200 pound man and when sitting directly on the pad my butt bottomed out the pad, but when laying down completely distributing my weight and rolling on my sides the pad did not bottom out and was comfortable.it worked great. the pad also comes with snaps on the side to sister additional pads for one big pad. the only reason i did not give it a 5 star rating was because the storage bag ripped because it is not sewed with strong enough thread to store the pad after being rolled and put back into storage bag. i returned mine and amazon sent me another one. i think i will sew it myself again to add additional strength to storage bag..but for the cost of this item i was very very pleased with the quality. i timed myself as the pad has a built in pump that you step on..from start to finish it took me one minutes and 7 seconds to fully fill with air. the top part of the pad also has a built in pillow/head rest which was very nice because you do not need to use a big pillow for comfort as you head will be elevated because of this feature.i think amazon knocked it out of the park with with one! my only wish is that a better sewed storage bag be made for the pad.

Great for a quick sleepover or camping trip!
I bought this Camping Sleeping Pad with built-in foot pump mainly for camping, but I ended up using it for a last-minute sleepover for one of my kids — and it worked perfectly! It was super easy to inflate with the foot pump (no extra equipment needed) and surprisingly comfortable for its size and thickness. My child slept on it all night without complaints, and it stayed inflated the whole time.I love how compact and lightweight it is — when deflated, it rolls up small enough to store in a closet or even take on trips. The attached pillow is a nice bonus, though I’d probably add a small extra pillow for adults.Overall, this is a great value for the price — perfect not only for camping, hiking, or travel, but also for occasional indoor use like sleepovers.

Filling it with air was easy. It took me maybe less than 3 minutes. I tried sleeping on it, and it was fine. I will using it in the outdoors, like camping and we’ll see how it functions
