Not big eye needles… Smallest needles are broken
I got this set because for whatever reason, these have been ads on my feed, and I was like sure. Let’s see if this makes hand sewing patches easier. In the videos, they always show how easily it goes through thick fabrics. I folded the bag a few times and struggled to get the needle through. I think you could do a lighter weight denim, but if you were doing a heavier denim, it would be a struggle.None of the needles are big eyes. Yes, it comes with a threader that fits (small end only). If you have vision problems and/or dexterity issues that require the larger eye, SKIP THESE.The 2 smallest needles that I received are completely unusable – the eyes are broken. I could understand *maybe* a broken needle if it was a very cheap under $5 kit, but 2 broken needles and over $10 is excessive. I don’t see the price value for this item.It’s not all bad – these are thicker and sturdier than the standard needles that you get. The threader is easy to use and handy. I have large hands and the thimbles to fit on my middle fingers [I do prefer a regular thimble compared to this ring, though]. The thread is strong, but there is not very much of it.3 stars – item not as described, high price, 2 broken needles.

Kit doesn’t reflect promises made
Sorry. I really wanted to like this sewing needle kit, and I really needed it to work as described…but it doesn’t reflect the promises made in the description.(1) The threaders don’t fit through the eyes of the two smaller-sized needles. Of course, that’s where bad eyes and arthritic hands need the most help! They don’t pull thread easily through the larger needles, either. Not very helpful at all.(2) The finger-protectors (I really wouldn’t call them thimbles), while effective enough, are basically 1 cm wide strips of cheap metal.(3) The thread is made of loosely woven thinner threads. Not at all the sewing thread I’d purchase at a store locally.I can’t recommend this kit.

The needle threaders in this kit are break-proof!
This kit includes two brass “ring” thimbles, twenty five strong needles of various diameters and lengths, six spools of strong hand-sewing thread similar to crochet cotton, and two unique needle threaders. These threaders are made of one piece of metal, and very strong. Took off a star because the small end of the needle threaders cannot fit into the eyes of the smaller needles, and the large end is too large for the eyes of the largest needles. Only took off one star for these issues, because thinner thread and smallest needles are easily handled by a more conventional wire threader, and the largest end of these threaders can easily handle large yarn needles and yarn, a real plus for knitters, crocheters, and weavers.

Excellent threading tool but weak needles
This sewing set includes several needles in different sizes, a seam ripper, thimbles, and spools of thread. It also includes tools to make threading needles easy. That’s my favorite item! It’s very simple to use and makes threading so much easier. All the tools fit into the included velvet bag. It’s a basic sewing kit.My only complaint is the needles. The metal is thin and seems fragile. One was even broken. I just can’t recommend this set with such weak needles.

I selected this set specifically for the variety and size of the sewing needles. The needles are in a handy clear tube which makes it easy to keep them safe and organized. Lots of extras are of good benefit too. Overall a good set to start with or add to your sewing items.

Not really Bog Eye Needles
This is a nice kit. It comes with six spools of thread in three colors. Also comes with finger rings that the manufacturer is calling thimbles. Don’t know if I agree with that part of the description. Also comes with some threaders and a thread ripper, along with a storage bae. My issue is that these aren’t wha tI consider big eye needles. Yes the eye is enlogated but not much wider than a regular sewing needle. Bing older with weaker eys sight and arthritis in my hands I wsa hoping for better.
