How to Use:
Simply sandwich the die and material to be cut between the Cutting Pads and roll through the machine.（NOTE: Depending upon the age and wear of your machine, you may need to add some paper or a metal under the cutting pad to get the best result!）
How to extend the life of your cutting pads:
-Use the whole surface(If the pads show signs of warping, cut by setting your die into the depressed area of them.Make sure that you vary the location that you are cutting on your pads.)
-Use both sides(When they get worn on one side, just flip them over and use the fresh side! When both sides are worn out, then it’s time for replacement cutting pads.)
NOTE
1.These polycarbonate plastic cutting pads often make loud creaking, cracking and snapping noises while being cranked through the die cutting machines.This is a normal part of machine operation and the cutting pads are designed to withstand these pressures.
2.All cutting pads are consumable items and will need replacing from time to time. They are prone to bowing and marking but this is completely normal through use.

They are indeed clear and work like a charm
Another reviewer said they were white – they have peel-off backings to protect them in transport. So yes, they are clear!And they are compatible with my Big Shot Switch – though they are indeed longer than the platform itself.Still they work great for doing two folders at a time (regular size, placed sideways and right next to each other), or for my long folders.

They work with the Sizzix Switch, but…
I purchased these particular pads because they were a cheaper price than the Sizzix brand name ones. These cutting pads aren’t clear/transparent, but are a white opaque. They are lighter in weight, not as “beefy” as the Sizzix ones I got with my machine. I used them with an intricate Thinlet die and had to run it thru the machine several times to get the design on the corners to cut. I probably won’t reorder these.

The plates warp very quickly
The plates fit my machine , but with just a small amount of use (3 hours at most) they warp and will no longer go through my sissix machine. When they warp, the dies move and overlap with the other dies and then cause the dies to bend and misshape, consequently destroying the dies. I paid $42.00 for 2 sets of plates and within 3 hours 2 plates were destroyed with warping and can no longer be used. I followed the instructions, but they still warped. This is a total waste of money and I would not recommend these plates.

Flat, thick plastic plates.
The plates that I received are thick and solid. They look and feel just like the plates that I usually use in my die cutter and I have no complaints. I like that there is a protective film on the plates to keep them clean before their first use. Naturally, they get scuffed up with every press afterwards and won’t last forever, but they’re good quality.

From the first cuts with Sizzix cutting pads, they warped & curled so badly that I couldn’t no longer use them within a couple months. These cutting pad are the absolute BEST! I have cut several dies & they are still straight as a board! I will be a regular customer & tell everyone how great they are!
