Good Burr Set
This is a nice set of ten tungsten carbide burrs with ¼ inch shanks. They fit fine in my HFT die grinder. Included are an assortment of shapes and sizes, so you should be able to find the right one for the job at hand. I have not yet had the opportunity to give any of these a real workout but my initial impression is that they work just fine.Included with this set is a mandrel with five cut off discs. These discs are 3 inches diameter with a 3/8 inch center hole. They are about .050 inch thick, or slightly less than 1/16 inch. These are useful items, but a somewhat curious addition to a burr set. Perhaps more curious is the inclusion of a very light weight pair of work gloves. When I use a high speed tool like a die grinder, I typically like to use a sturdy pair of gloves, which these are not.The burrs come housed in a plastic case; this case is not the most study I have ever seen, but it seems to get the job done, keeping them organized and protected.I do not use my tools in a professional environment, but I expect a lot from them when I am doing fabrication projects at home or working on my grandson’s 600cc micro sprint race car. These are the kind of tools that I will not use a lot, but when I need them, there is no substitute.I first thought that this set was a bit expensive at its current Amazon selling price of about $65. But, for ten burrs, that’s about $6.50 each which really is not too bad for what seems like quality pieces. Add the cutoff discs, mandrel, and bonus gloves, the kit is a fair deal.

High quality bits, horrible carrying box, and questionable price.
These bits are not bad. They heavy duty, well-made, and SHARP! Plus there are a lot of them, so you should have whatever you need for most applications. I don’t really now about the grinding discs, since I didn’t get this for the discs, but they seem to be well-made too, although not quite so much as the bits. I haven’t used ever bit yet, but the few I’ve tried do just fine! I’m excited to use them more and on different materials as more projects come up in the very near future.That said, even though I just touted the quality of the bits themselves, they are NOT the same as the ones pictured in the product description, nor are they as well-made. Unlike the ones pictured on the posting, these bits aren’t smooth and polished. They’re more rough and unrefined. They also don’t have that little gold ring just below the head. While the ring is likely just for aesthetics, it’s a nice indicator to show that that they aren’t selling the bits in the picture, which is a bit disappointing.So now to the box and Price:The box isn’t necessary. I get it. The money is in the bits, not the box. But I’m still going to complain just a bit about the box. While not necessary, it sure is nice to have a box to keep the bits together and keep them from damaging each other. But this box is absolute rubbish. The inside support hinges keep coming off (one was unknowingly off when I took these photos,) the lid won’t stay open by itself, and the bits were all dislodged and all over the box when I opened it. My biggest concern about the quality of the bits is how cheap they went with their packaging. If the packaging is this low quality, it’s hard to imagine the bits being high quality. So I have to separate the two entirely.But the biggest kicker: the price. I haven’t found anything to justify the price. Maybe they’re harder or better made, but I have no way of knowing. Only time will tell as I have more opportunities to keep using these. But I can say from experience: While not always true, things are usually priced higher because they cost more to make. And if they cost more to make, they’re typically better. But that mindset has also gotten me burned before. But I do know this: These bits seem to be great at doing what I got them to do.

Set of burrs with case should be better quality for the price
This is an OK set that will work, but the price point is not in line with comparable sets. You get 10 different burrs that should work fine, but the milling could be better. The plastic red case is ok, but likely won’t last long — needs to be better quality. As a bonus you get a set of cloth work gloves and 5 cut off wheels with a 1/4” mandrel.

So first thing, the picture is a bit misleading. There is not a place to store the cut off wheels that come with this set, but they are included. That being said its not really a big deal since the wheels are kinda just bonus anyway. These are good cut off wheels and are well suited for hard materials. They perform well and I find chatter to minimal when used properly. Overall a good buy.
